QCRG COVID-19 Research Symposium
online symposium - 5pm-9pm (Paris time) / 8am-12pm (SF time) on zoom
Organizers: QBI Coronavirus Research Group (QCRG)
The QBI (Quantitative biology institute, SF), one of our partners, is pleased to announce the QCRG COVID-19 Research Symposium on June 19th from 5pm-9pm (Paris time, 8am-12pm SF time).
With COVID-19 spreading rapidly around the world and growing desperation for treatments, QCRG was formed at UCSF which connected hundreds of researchers around the world in a highly interdisciplinary and collaborative manner to aid in finding a treatment for the growing pandemic (learn more). This online symposium, supported by the QBI, will bring experts from different fields together to present our current knowledge, strategies and approaches on SARS-CoV-2 biology and treatment, and also put this knowledge into the context of other diseases.
This is a public event, open to all, so do not hesitate to share it with anyone who may be interested in attending, whether that's friends, family, or anyone else. It aims to bring all of our communities together to discuss the current state of COVID-19 research, which is something that is of interest to many even those outside the scientific community.
