Interdisciplinary call

Supporting innovative research being one of our main objectives, this funding aims at reinforcing interdisciplinary collaborations between teams within the PSL-Qlife institute. Each year, we provide 4 to 5 fellowships and each selected project will receives financial support to hire a post-doc or an engineer for a maximum duration of 24 months. The presented project  has to be carried out by at least one team from PSL-QLife. Projects with teams in more than one institute of Qlife will be favored to foster new collaborations.

Joint call with the QBI

The Quantitative Biosciences Institute (QBI, UCSF)  seeks transformative results in biomedicine by supporting fundamental quantitative research in the biological sciences through significant collaborative efforts. Together, we support our common missions by organizing yearly symposiums, the first edition of which was held in September 2019. In 2020, we also launched a joint call of proposal, which aimed at funding collaborative projects between teams of the QBI and PSL-Qlife, focusing on quantitative approaches to study complex biological problems. Each project was awarded 600K€/$. We hope to be able to repeat this initiative in a near future.
